Grant’s Premium Haggis

The History of Haggis

The history of ‘Scotland’s National Dish’ is shrouded in mystery. There is no concrete evidence to support claims that haggis originates in Scotland. It has been argued by historians that it may have come from the romans, or even the Vikings. One thing we do know is, Grant’s Haggis has been produced in Scotland for over 135 years and is made to our secret Scottish recipe. If that doesn’t make our Haggis Scottish, we don’t know what does.

What’s in our Haggis?

Our Haggis recipe is a very closely guarded secret. However, we can tell you there is lamb, oatmeal, water, suet, onion, and a range of secret spices that give our haggis its signature taste.
