Europe Urges Families to Be Prepared

Grant’s urge households to follow europe’s lead on emergency food readiness.

As governments across Europe urge households to prepare for unexpected disruptions, is reminding families that a well-stocked cupboard is one of the simplest ways to stay ready.

From extreme weather and power outages to supply chain disruption, recent events have shown how quickly everyday essentials can become harder to access.

“Preparedness starts in the kitchen cupboard,” said     John Fallon, Managing Director at Grant’s. “Keeping a supply of nutritious, long-life meals at home offers reassurance when the unexpected happens. It’s a simple step that can make a real difference.”

Research and emergency planning guidance consistently recommend keeping non-perishable foods that are easy to store, quick to prepare and require little refrigeration or waste, making canned meals a practical option for many households.
